Hyungwon spends his spring break at the beach and meets coffee shop owner Kihyun.

 

Hyungwon couldn’t explain how much he is ready for this break. His last year of college is really taking a lot of his energy. He is just glad that he can finally spend so me time without worrying about homework or any other things. 

​

Usually he is not awake early but today it’s different. He wanted to get breakfast at a small coffee near the beach he saw yesterday as he arrived as this place. 
 

"Good morning" he was greeted by an employee "what can I get you?"

​

The first thing he noticed was that the men in front of him was beautiful. His dark hair and his pretty smile 

​

"Good morning" he replies, ordering his food and sit down at one of the tables.

 

"I never saw you here? Are you new here?" The guy asked placing the food on his table.

 

"No its spring break so i came here to visit" Hyungwon 

​

"Really? How do you know this place a lot of people don’t know about this and go to the other side" He asked his customer curious. 

 

"I always came here with my mom and this time I’m here alone" he explains 

 

That explains a lot because Kihyun would definitely remember a beautiful men like this. Something is drawing him to the younger man in front of him. Its a feeling of knowing someone even when you don’t. A warm feeling in his stomach. 

 

"Ah that’s nice" he smiles "I hope you like the food"  going back to work before he the other could answer.

Hyungwon was thinking a lot if he should or shouldn’t asked the stranger for his name. If he had the courage of talking to the other again. Maybe he could asked him to go of a walk together or something like that. Hyungwon were never shy when it comes to asked someone out. He was always a upfront person. 

 

He couldn’t go without asked him at least his name. So when he come again to give him the bill.

"Can I have your name too?" he asked cheeky. Kihyun laugh at this somehow did flatter him this. 

 

"Kihyun and owner of this coffee" he introduced himself 

 

So Kihyun didn’t just worked here but own this beautiful coffee shop.

 

"Hyungwon" he said "You don’t look like a owner of a coffee"

"Why because I’m too young?" he asked sitting down across of the men.

​

Hyungwon didn’t know how old the other were exactly but he didn’t look much older then Hyungwon himself.

 

He smiles "Well, yes I mean it’s not easy to start something on his own at this age"

 

"It wasn’t and its isn’t but it was my dream since I was little so i couldn’t be happier"

​

Hyungwon understand this better then everyone having a dream as and no matter how hard it is to work through it. There was time he was ready to give everything up but the dream of being a dancer was got him through dance academy. 

 

"Don’t you have to work?" he asked leaning back 

​

"This is good on owning a shop, you can work when ever you want" he smiles "but do have go back to work" he says while he see more customers enter the place.

​

"that’s alright" he says "but will I see you again? I mean outside of the coffee shop?" he asked Kihyun nervous.

​

Hyungwon maybe only here for week but he wanted to know get the men better. And he didn’t live far from here so he should take the opportunity to get the mean know better that made something really curious about him even when they didn’t talk for a long time. 

​

"Sure just come by when I close the store" Kihyun said standing up "I will show you a place that you really not know about" 

 

Kihyun couldn’t stop the about thinking Hyungwon. The way he smiles or his dark hair. He was really excited for they met up later. Should he change his outfit for something more fitting. 

​

"So I come in late one day and know you have a date" Minhyuk could not believe what was happening, he tried to get his friends to date for months but the younger always tried to escape the subject. So he wonders what changed. Who the men is that got his friend to change his mind. 

​

"Its not a date" he replied wiping the table. Minhyuk was always invest in the younger love life especially after his break up. 

​

"So what is it then?" He looked at his friends "are you nervous?"

​

It’s not that he was nervous… maybe he wad nervous but he didn’t knew what was different with Hyungwon. 

​

"A little bit" he admits "I don’t know if all of this is going too fast" he reveals his concern. Minhyuk sign he knows his friend is scared of falling in love again.

​

"You are just going for a walk and you can still decide which way you want to go" he reassure the other 

 

"So go and get ready“ he smiles.

​

Minhyuk was right, it was just the beginning of something and he still had enough time to decide how everything goes. He also had control if everything it was like the two were getting married every second. So he should stop worrying about things that didn’t happened yet. About things that didn’t even start yet.

 

So he decided to just go for it.

​

"Hey" Hyungwon greeted him while walking in. "Ready?" he smiles. 

​

Hyungwon looked even better then the in the morning. His heart was beating fast, he didn’t know why.

 

"Hey ready as I can be" he replies. 

​

"Will you tell me where we are going to?" he asked the older.

​

"Nope" he smiles wide "Its a secret until we get there" 

 

"Come on please" Hyungwon insisted but Kihyun just shake his head.

 

"I didn’t asked you what you study" he asked he remember that the other is here because of spring break 

​

"Ah I study modern dance" he replies "It was always my dream to dance" walk beside the the coffee shop owner.

​

Kihyun was impressed he didn’t think that the other has an artist side in him. "Really wow that’s really impressing" 

 

"You think so?“ he asked surprised he often hears that he should study something more serious, something that gives him more chance in the job market. They said its a not even a job so its was nice to hear about this the first time. 

 

"Yeah, I really think its cool. I can’t dance but you can teach me." he suggest he really weren’t the most talented when its come to dancing.

 

"I totally can do that even when now I feel a little bit pressured."  He smiles 

 

"Why would you?" he asked not understand why Hyungwon would care about the opinion from someone who cant dance

 

"because I want to impress you"  he replies honest which to that Kihyun blushed

 

Hyungwon was flirten with him, he didn’t handle this. So they  just walk in silence next to each other  close but not to close. When they arrived at a small cliff where you could see the whole beach. It was really beautiful. He really didn’t know that part auf the city even when he always spent his holidays on this city. When Hyungwon looked at Kihyun the other was shining. In his eyes reflection  of the moon, he was so beautiful. It made his heart beat faster. Not like Kihyun hadnt made  his heart beat faster since the first moment they meet. 

 

"Its really beautiful" he smiles turning to Kihyun 

 

"you are one of the few people who I showed this place" he smiled also looking at the other

 

"So I’m special" he question the other. Being one of the few parts who can see that place made him feel warm. 

 

"don’t get ahead of yourself" Kihyun replies pushing Hyungwon lightly.

 

The rest of the night two spent sitting on the bench. Talking to each other, its  easy for them to talk liked the know each other for so long. Kihyun was funny and really smart. He started his business in his early 20s just finished high school and moved to the smll city at the beach. The two of them were different like sun and moon. Its still didn’t stop him to feel all this butterflies.

 

But Hyungwon had to leave the place in less then 4 days. They had 4 days to spent time together and the other was working which limit their time to get to now each other. He does want kihyun to be a holidays fling. So he is honest to the other, tell him that he wants to spend more time with him but he also reminds kihyun that he lives 1 h away and that may be hard what ever the nature of the relationship its or will be come.  Its not the a lie when Hyungwon said that Kihyun blow his mind. He doesn’t  want to rush anything but he really want to have him be his side even when its only friendship. 

 

Kihyun couldn’t give him a clear answer not because he didn’t liked Hyungwon back but the younger was just he for holidays.  On the other hand he didn’t want to let him go like this. 

​

He was ready to risk it because he enjoy the time that they spent together.

 

The next few days they both spend all the free time together, laughing and Hyungwon even help him in the coffee shop. It was fun none of them thought about the day the Hyungwon needs to go home. The day they wont have them close to each other. Just few days in happiness.

 

But even when the both of them tried not to think about that. The day has of Hyungwon departure.

​

Kihyun was standing in front of Hyungwon his arms around the other waist his head in the other chest.

 

"I will come back at the next months." He said petting the younger hair.

"hmmm" Kihyun saying. He doesn’t know how to feel about Hyungwon leaving, he was sad but they talked about it that Hyungwon will come back regularly and he will visited the other too.

 

Hyungwon looked him in the eye and but they lips together. He lips felt soft against his , Kihyun needed a minute to understand what was happening as soon he understand what was happening he kiss the other back.

​

Maybe it was the happy ending he was expecting but it was his happy ending.
